The suffering that is yet to come may be avoided

Here any action rooted in the five kleshas is bound to cause misery and future suffering.  When we work at the root cause of all suffering we can avoid any future karma by practicing meditation knowing the Self we burn out any past karmas and living in right action brings not new karma to bear fruit for the next generation.  

This card is saying the same thing as the sutra but in a new age fun way.  By digging deep into self we will find the entrance to paradise.  By doing this we are following our karmic path and life’s ultimate mission.
