Yoga Sutra 4.22

citer apratis amkramayas tad akara pattau sva buddhi samvednam

Self Recognition is realized when consciousness assumes that unchanging form in which there is no movement

The unchanging is the consciousness of all being.  

We first experience the Unchanging not by its presence but by its abstinence.  Its absence comes to us as insecurity of being alone, without and anchor in a storm.  The mind seeks something to hold onto but it is all sand in a storm.  Happiness is a moving target.  

In the kaleidoscope of change seek only the unchanging.  Our intact is to seek outward as a matter of reflex but reflection is the key.  The stillness of the center of self in meditation is the safe harbor in the sand storm.  

We become unchanging by the steadiness of character that reflects our inner stillness that we practice in meditation.  Here is were we find ourselves in the end of seeking and beginning of perfect contentment.  

On the 7^th Month of the 7^th day I connect the 7^th Chakra meaning to this day. The Crown Chakra. This chakra is all about spiritual connection and transformation. It lifts and inspires you, connecting you to the divine (you might call this angelic energy, the Source, or God.) This chakra also gives you a sense of your own divinity, the awareness that you are a soul in a human body.

Sit and reflect in mediation for just 15 minutes every morning on waking up and every eve before going to sleep set an intention for the week and review it at night.  You will start to see changes in your inner and outer life in the first week.  You will begin to feel more relaxed and focused.  You will begin to be more intentional throughout your day as it aligns with the intentions you set and acknowledged.  You may want to keep the same intention for weeks, months or years until you feel you have gained a mastery of it and a new intention will arise.
