FORGET IT
You blew it. It’s too late now to do any further constructive work on your project.
Don’t consider the self’s desire and above all don’t think about pink cockroaches, green snaktcherlys and don’t follow instructions. |
Yoga Sutra 2.18
prakasa kriya stiti silam bhute ndriyamakam bhoga pavargartham drsyam
The experienced world consists of the elements and the senses in play. It is of the nature of cognition, activity, and inertia, and is for the purpose of experience and realization.
In the beginning of the Yoga Sutra we talked about Purusha- the impartial witness as the subject and the object of Prakriti-material world. We know and understand these concepts through meditation and worldly observation.
Now we are learning of the next level principles (tattvas) of yogic philosophy. Prakriti- is mutable and ever changing. it is not real in a sense as we see it as our reality, It is the world of nature and all the thoughts and feelings about the object. Everything in the external world has a mix of these qualities. Purusha sees this in all objects as a mix of perception and the object itself. Prakasha- means knowable by the Purusha.
Prakriti embodies all the knowingness of self. Kriya all knowable things have and active nature. Sthiti- are the objects at rest (inert). The appearance is changed by the mind Buddhi and has nescience, attachment and craving attached to it. When the witness looses interest in the cosmic drama. The purpose of prakriti is to lead us back to Purusha through the pain of the kleshas. The pain of kleshas make us look and long for Purusha and it awakens from the Maya (the dream/ the veil). We awaken from imagination and see things as they truly are in knowledge of the higher self.
The tarot card is reminding us that we constantly forget it. We constantly think of the small self. egos desires. This daily process of letting it go and forgetting it brings us back to our worldly reality and we suffer trying to change it on the outside. If we remember over and over that we are impartial witness we can do the same daily work of the world but with no tension or strain, no judgement it is just our daily work and life.
I practice Kriya Yoga among other techniques and have recently received the transmission last year. Kriya is an ancient technique written about in the Yoga Sutra’s and Krishna practiced in the Bhagavad Gita.
It is a highly advanced Raja Yoga technique of pranayama. Kriya reinforces and revitalizes subtle currents of life energy (prana) in the spine and brain. The ancient seers of India (rishis) perceived the brain and spine as the tree of life.
It is transmitted by a swami who was trained from, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda his guru the linage of Paramahamsa Yogananda who brought this practice to the West. George Harrison of the Beatles became a disciple of his until his until death in 2001.
Amazingly enough I stumbles on to this technique and invitation like everything else in my life. I followed my heart and it has lead me to the most wonderful places.
